The solid was developed to assist research that proposed the validation of a numerical analysis of the fluid dynamics in a polymeric unglazed solar collector. The validation was done by comparing the results from a real unglazed solar collector tested on a sun simulator laboratory in specific boundary conditions.  The 3D solid was tested through CFD (computational fluid dynamics) under the same circumstances and then the CFD results were validated.
